The International Festival “Ohrid FolkloreWaves” is a non-competitive event of  traditional and modern dances and music with objective to present and affirm traditional culture and folklore of numerous local and international participants from all over the world. Our festival's main purpose is safeguarding and promoting tradition and culture by organizing different types of folklore events. 

Our festivals are a place where each participant is part of one special and unique folklore adventure. Through music and dances, we meet new friends; we learn new languages and discover different cultures. 

Above all, we have a lot of fun and a lifetime experience, worth remembering.

 On the festival may participate children and youth folklore dance  groups, modern dance groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups and  choirs, as well as groups and performers from other art styles. The age  of participants is not limited.
